For obvious reasons we can?t tell you too much about the type of questions you will be asked. However if you reach this stage you will be sent a briefing note to help yin prepare.

You should be prepared to talk about your reasons for wanting to join the Scheme & the NHS & be aware of the challenges you might face. You should read things like the trainee blogs, the NHS constitution & the healthcare leadership model beforehand.

Whatever your future leadership ambitions are, the NHS offers a fantastic start with a variety of challenging placements in an organisation that is wholeheartedly determined to provide equal opportunities to all employees. Selection for the scheme is based solely on aptitude and ability to ensure we have the best leaders for the NHS.
