With regards to advice about the scheme, it sounds like you're a perfect candidate for the role; taking into account your passion for working for the NHS. In the interviews, just be yourself, let this passion shine through and I'm sure you will be fine.
The tests can seem quite daunting at first, but if you practice the online tests using the link posted above, you will be able to get a feel of the tests and be more comfortable with the content and layout which will no doubt help your performance. Since you're doing a maths degree I can't imagine you'll have much of a problem with the maths test which I think is probably the more challenging one.
